Why merge with SnapaPdf?
Files stay on your device. Other PDF mergers upload your documents to a server, queue them in a job, and email you the result. SnapaPdf skips all of that, your files are processed in your browser's memory and never sent anywhere.
No file size or count limit. Merge 2 PDFs or 200. The only practical limit is your device's RAM.
No queue, no wait. A 50MB merge that takes 90 seconds elsewhere finishes here in under five, there's no upload step.
Works offline. Install SnapaPdf as a Progressive Web App and merge PDFs without an internet connection.
Frequently asked questions
Is merging PDFs really free?
Yes. Every tool on SnapaPdf is free with no daily limits, file size caps, or watermarks on output.
How many PDFs can I merge at once?
No fixed limit. We've tested up to 100 files at once. The only constraint is your device's available memory.
Do my files get uploaded somewhere?
No. Open DevTools → Network and watch, nothing leaves your browser. The merge happens locally using JavaScript libraries (pdf-lib).
Can I reorder the PDFs before merging?
Yes. Files appear in a list as you add them. Remove and re-add to change order.
What if my PDFs are password-protected?
Use the Unlock PDF tool first to remove the password (you must know it), then merge.
