Honest about quality

Text content: Excellent. Headings, paragraphs, lists, and basic formatting transfer cleanly.

Images: Embedded images are extracted and placed in the PDF.

Complex layouts: Tables of contents, footnotes, and headers/footers may need manual cleanup. For pixel-perfect rendering, use Microsoft Word's built-in "Save as PDF", it has access to fonts our browser doesn't.

When to use SnapaPdf: Quick conversions of standard documents, meeting notes, reports, contracts, school assignments. Anywhere you'd otherwise upload to a free converter.

Why use SnapaPdf?

Privacy first. Your contracts, CVs, sensitive documents, none of them upload to a stranger's server.

No limits. Convert 100 documents per day if you need to. No "premium tier" pop-up.

Works offline. Install as a PWA and convert without internet, useful on planes or in secure environments.

No watermark. Output is clean, no branding, no "Created by Free Tool" footer.

FAQ

Does it support .doc (older Word format)?

Yes, both .docx (Word 2007+) and .doc (legacy) work. .docx generally produces better results since it's a more modern format.

Will my fonts render correctly?

Standard fonts (Arial, Times New Roman, Calibri) render correctly. Custom corporate fonts may substitute to a similar fallback. For perfect font rendering, use Word's native "Save as PDF".

Can I batch-convert many documents?

Currently single-file. Drop multiple files and we'll process them sequentially in a future update.

What about Google Docs?

Download from Google Docs as .docx, then convert here. Or use Docs' built-in "Download as PDF".
